Gordon Barker

Gordon exhibited in July/August 2007 at Studio three. His work is very distinctive. He uses acrylics, with a lot of water to produce smudgy skies, and then uses less water for the rest of the painting, which usually contains characteristic trees, often in silhouette, and Lowry type figures (except a little fatter!). He paints on canvas too.

Samantha Trott

Samantha exhibited in November/December 2007 at Studio three. She has produced large scale detailed etchings of Salcy Forest which are very atmospheric. She also exhibited some of drawings of the forest in Pen, ink and watercolour wash. Etching involves a great deal of technical knowledge, of which Samantha has an abundance.    Link here

 Nicole Shepherd

Nicole exhibited in November/December alongside Samantha Trott. Nicole also works on a very large scale ( 6ft by 6ft) selling her work to companies with the room to display it! She works with Ink and pastels to produce abstract images, which have been compared to imagery of the universe and also of inside the human body. Everyone sees something different in her work.

Lorraine James

Lorraine exhibited in January and February 2008. Two Landscapes and four linocuts. The landscapes were quite different to each other in style. Studio three still displays 'Daventry Country Park', painted with sponges and twigs.

Charlotte Basson

Exhibiting alongside Rae, Charlotte's abstract images are a perfect compliment. This thumbnail is one of her skyscapes. Also inspired by nature, Charlotte's work is produced in acrylics.
Both Charlotte and Rae's work is beautifully framed.
